Apparently, there is a Nintendo Wii for sale, and that too big time. Having sold over a quarter of a million copies in its first week, and despite not being released outside Japan, the Wii Fit reached the one million unit sales milestone by January. As of July, the game had sold 2,353,000 copies in Japan. Prior to release, the consumer reaction was also positive in the U.K, with some retailers having to stop taking pre-orders due to its increasing popularity. Reports in the United Kingdom state that the Wii Fit launch had seen lines form nationwide.

Michael Pachter, an analyst with Wedbush Morgan Securities, estimated that Nintendo shipped around 500,000 copies of the game in North America, while sending 2 million units to Europe. According to the NPD, they had 690,000 units of the Nintendo Wii for sale in the US in May 2008, making it the country's third highest selling title for the month.

Nintendo’s Music will be released on Oct 20, with a retail price of $49.99. It allows players to use more than 60 instruments which includes 50 songs and can also share chat online with their friends. Company’s Wii Fit has strong appeal among the mass market.

Nintendo is best among all the companies, and is now coming with more Wii consoles. It is very clear that Nintendo is trying to meet the consumers’ demand. The announcement made by the President Reggie, cleared that it is not a joke to find products in the market. Nintendo is facing lot of problems in production.

It is an international sensation in the game industry, selling millions of copies. Although they have increased production of Wii by 50 percent, still more is needed to satiate the thirst of gamers.
