Ubisoft has come back with an adventure game on the Wii and DS in March 2009.The company has confirmed in a press release about bringing back Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templar, the first in adventurous game series. The game has showed up on Nintendo’s massive list of Q1 games and the release is confirmed.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars has been ported to a number of platforms since its release in 1996 on the PlayStation and GBA. The latest version has been described as “The Director’s Cut” by Ubisoft and promises a new series which is interwoven with the first story. The games decade old graphics have also been retouched and gives a fresh look.

It’s finally time for making Guitar Hero: Metallica official as the game has come out with its first trailer. The band itself has been talking about the game and it’s been in the Game Informer also. This trailer has not been published by Activision but it has been posted on the band’s website.

The trailer promises the bands “fiercest songs” which indicates “tunes from the first 5 albums.” The video would also be something great to watch. The video has Hetfield which looks like a mutant in the game and the trailer has various angles of lens projection to suit the game.

Amazon Video Games has come up with an amazing offer of 15 Days 15 Deals with daily anticipations and fabulous deals where most of the games will be available on reduced prices. So, now one doesn’t have to forego the Balance Board games due to financial reasons. In this offer, the retailer has announced a few Wii games including Raving Rabbids TV Party.

Among the other reduced price games is Wario Land: Shake It! at $40 which shares juvenile humor with Ubisoft’s minigame collection. Nyko’s Perfect Shot and Ben 10 Alien Force are also available at decent prices. For something to gear up your angry mood there’s even Game Party 2 and Block Party.

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto gave an entertaining interview at the Official Nintendo Magazine site. He greets ONM showing no signs of strains as a cheerful, animated, chatty and friendly. Despite being visibly jet-lagged, he wears a huge grin, talks freely, and oddly, strums away on an invisible guitar for the duration of the interview.

The article is mainly designed to promote Wii Music without having any comment on the next Zelda. Even on asking much about Zelda, Miyamoto was not ready to budge anything. He said that he was not really sure when they will be able to make a public announcement and can’t even say that the next E3 will be the right opportunity to do so. However, he assured that their teams are working on the new projects right now.

If you are giving gifts then buying something small presents for each individual family member can be boring. Make sure you buy something the whole family enjoys. The only thing that currently comes in my mind will be the Nintendo Wii. Online retailer Amazon.com has slashed down the price on several Nintendo Wii games. This is a part of their promotion, Gold Box 15 Days, 15 Deals. Amazon has dropped down prices of many items that are related to Nintendo. This has increased the number of Nintendo Wii for sale. US had 2 million Nintendo Wii for sale which is double the number the same period last year.

Even Best Buy and Circuit City are running offers at their store to keep maximum Nintendo Wii for sale. Circuit City offered a new 2 for $40 sale for Nintendo Wii console. Above the biggest store WalMart has the Nintendo Wii for sale. They have around ten thousand Nintendo Wii for sale. It is a good offered for all those who found it out of stock almost every store. They are also offering a Nintendo Wii Value bundle that includes console, game, accessory pack and an extra set of controller for $329.

Looks like Reggie has kept its words if keeping Nintendo Wii for sale this holidays. They now understand if they do not keep the stock available they might lose the market for ever. However still the company does not assure for how long the stock will be available at retail stores. So, what are you waiting for hurry up and grab you Wii before the stock exhausts online.

A new trailer has been prepared for Fishing Master: World Tour. The trailer is very identical to the previous one which had a video footage featuring each of the game’s fishing venues. The current Fishing Master has the same music as the previous trailer. Event the shot of the spinning globe on the captain’s desk is also similar. The difference can be viewed in the latter’s game locations where the gameplay is demonstrated with controller diagrams and in-game footage.

The trailer made the fishing game look even more exciting. It had flashy screen effects, animated characters portraits that pop up and combo displays. All these features in the trailer make the game Fishing Master look more like fighting game than the normal waiting game.

Ubisoft is planning to develop a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting game. This news has been recently updated in the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine. The development of this game would involve staff from Super Smash Bros. Brawl along with the Team Ninja experts. The magazine doesn’t give much detail about the game except for the development of the project.

However, it has been revealed on the IGN board about the other details of the game. The game is a 2.5d where four players can play or rather fight online. The NES version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was rather technically impressive. IGN has also posted that Ubisoft is planning to release the new game in September.

Wii Music and Guitar Hero aren't on the offerings, but Wii Fit and Wii Sports are part of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center efforts to assist with patient rehabilitation and therapy efforts. “With the addition of the Wii we are able to achieve desirable results with the patients through fun electronic methods such as bowling, baseball, and golf,” said Angie Guiler, Rehab Clinical Coordinator. “The addition of the Wii not only assists each patient with the physical rehabilitation but it fosters the development of relationships as well.”
The goal at Berger Hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is to provide “close to home,” individualized services to restore functional ability for patients. The rehabilitation team works with patients and their families to begin treatment immediately in an effort to help the patient resume a productive lifestyle and restore as much independence as possible.

Underworld has definitely been an eagerly anticipated title by fans across the world. The game promised to bring a revamped Lara Croft, which could do a lot of new amazing things, taking advantage of the power of the next generation consoles. The game managed some pretty good sales, and it was the first one in the series to be launched on a Nintendo platform, appearing on the Wii and on the DS handheld console. But this debut wasn't without problems, as quite a few users complained that in a level set in Thailand, the game didn't spawn a lever, which was imperative so that Lara could continue her adventure. This game-stopping glitch angered a lot of gamers, who demanded that Eidos would come up with a patch or a fix in order to repair the problem.

Now the company has issued a press release in which it says that it is terribly sorry about the major glitch, but that it can't really do anything other than to ask users to try resorting to an earlier save. As an alternative solution, it has offered some savegame files on its website which can be placed on an SD card and introduced in the Wii. Although this isn't quite what users expected, the company can't really do anything else.

According to a comparison made between the sales of Wii systems and GameCube Enterbrain reported that Wii Systems sold 7,000,000 copies till November 23, GameCube sold 4 million in Japan. It was only Animal Crossing: City Folks that drove the sales of Wii in the last week of November.

It was shocking to learn that the game’s 303,204 copies were sold from the Japanese shelves in its very first week. To recollect, when the game was initially released, Nintendo had just sent one bundle of the game where it was impossible to utilize the WiiSpeak peripheral in the game and it was reviewed that it lacked any kind of innovation. Still, looking at its sale we can say it was rather a good week for ports between Animal Crossing and Chrono Trigger.
