Nintendo has done something that is quite counter intuitive. They managed to sell $33 million worth of games that came out awhile ago. I'm talking a VERY long time ago. Remember the first time you played Super Mario? Yeah that long ago. This is good news for Nintendo which means that people using the Nintendo for much more than just playing some Wii Sports.

This also gives Nintendo confidence to build more applications for the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo has also announced a special channel that lets people watch promotional videos, see release dates for games, and even download demos for Nintendo DS games. That's incredible. The only problem is that its only available in Japan, but we expect to see it soon here as well.

It may be a surprise to Americans, but the Big Brain Academy has taken over the United Kingdom my storm. There is even a show where families on the Wii to become the smartest and brainiest family. I doubt would fly over here in America.

A family in the Chouhan family from Leicester ended up winning the competition and they were award a whopping 20,000 pounds. That's like $40,000 USD. The money will go to the children's education, which is probably a good idea.

I think this is a great idea to get more exposure to gaming and education. There are a lot of things in gaming that can make learning a much more efficient experience.

Guitar Hero III has been an absolute success. It is just as difficult to find a copy of Guitar Hero III as it is to find the Nintendo Wii for sale. One of the most amazing featuers is the online play capability.

People have already logged more than 620,000 connections on the Nintendo Wii Wifi connect service. That's a lot! It only came in second to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (1.4+ million).

The Guitar Hero III craze is catching on like wilfire. There are now hundreds of videos on YouTube with amazing rendition of classic rock songs. Guitar Hero III has a long and prosperous future ahead.

It's a great week to be a Nintendo Wii owner as a new set of games have been released on virtual console. If you don't know what that is, Nintendo allows you download old Nintendo, Sega, and other console games onto your Nintendo Wii. It's a great way to play old games that you played back in the day.

This week includes a legendary game and it's only 500 Wii points. The game is Super Mario Bros 3. Yeah, I know. I told you it was a big deal. This game was epic and started a huge obsession with Nintendoo.

The other two games are Power Golf and Blue's Journey. Power Golf was for the Turbografx and costs 600 Wii points. Blue's Journey was for the Neo Geo and costs 900 Wii poitns.
