Warner Bros and EAs have confirmed that the new Harry Potter game will release in summer 2009. Which means it is going to coincide with the film’s release. Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince is the sixth in JK Rowling's book series. It is about a young wizard growing up in a secret world of magic.

The film was about to release in autumn but due to certain reasons the film’s release has been delayed. Due to this the game’s release got affected. EA Casual Studios vice president Robert Nashak said the game will feature new Wii gestures and increased game play capabilities across all platforms.
