Electronics Arts has officially announced Dead Space for the Wii console along with a new game called Dead Space Extraction. The horror game has a new central character as the first person with multiplayer option. The game is expected to be shipped in late September by EA.

To make the introduction of Dead Space more interesting, EA has added a new heroine to start the horror journey in Dead Space Extraction. The story continues on the Wii version from the point when the space colonists struggle to get rid of the horrifying infection. The Extraction has new characters, weapons, puzzles and enemies. The Wii is mostly known for porting games that are family oriented, sports and full of leisure. But through this game, it will introduce its fans too much blood, breathtaking actions and an engraving game-play to make it have a stunning effect on the audience.
